The Writers and Artists London Meeting - thanks to Bloomsbury

Hi Folks

Well I attended a great event today in the capital, sponsored by Bloomsbury. The room was full of Authors and Illustrators for children, Agents, Publishers and Editors sharing their knowledge and experience. I was like a kid in a sweet shop, not knowing what to eat next.

It was a very good learning experience for me and I throughly recommend the event to any wanting to become more informed about the children's book industry.

    I agree Sean, and thanks for exchanging cards :)

    I found the whole day really useful - just the last session seemed to be a bit of a downer after the positivity of the earlier sessions. But still, I suppose 'back to reality' helps.

    I redid my 'pitch' on the way home. It must be much better than it was... but a long way to go to redo the synopsis.
