Glossary of Characters from the Everlasting and Fantastical Adventures of Elannah and Sam series:




 Elannah: A beautiful light brown haired girl. She loves to dance and was born with boogie bones. Elannah has a active curiosity and likes to know what's happening. She also has a talent for persuading others to do what she wants. Her name means wood spirit or spirit of the earth.



 Sam: A brown haired boy. Strong and determined. Very brave almost to the point of being reckless. Loves games and fun and is very fast on his feet. Good at martial arts for which he trains and can be noisy and likes to talk. He is fond of sea creatures and has a great sense of what is right and wrong. His name means heard of God.



 Grumphspawn: The Great Wizard. A Troll with exceptional magical powers. Has a purple cloak and a silver wand. He has a generally grumpy manner but is actually quite likeable underneath his craggy exterior. He lives in a rather peculiar castle on top of a flat mountain.



 Rodger the Badger: A great friend of Elannah and Sam's. Lives down near the mouse river in a bank close to the Troll Bridge. Rodger knows where the best of everything is in the Land of Dreams. He loves making chocolate chip cookies and badger style hot chocolate (lashings of extra honey). He wears a hat with a white feather in the band that Elannah gave him for Christmas.



 Raspberry Rock Style: Formerly known as the Twelve Toed Ugly Troll. Lives under the Troll Bridge near Rodger the Badger. He was mean and with a bad reputation but had now changed because of his friendship with Elannah and Sam. He has Troll Magic which activates with a flash from his teeth.



 Tweezel the Weasel: A girl weasel that lives in the Night Flower Garden with the Petal Princess. A mottled grey brown colour and she loves to play games especially chasing games. She hardly ever stands still and jitters about a lot. She has a mouth full of sharp teeth but is gentle by nature.



 Pokey the Hedgehog: Friend of Rodger the Badger. Likes to say "Knock Knock" instead of knocking at doors. He has a bright sense of humour and likes to joke. He has a bristly back and prefers to shake hands with his friends rather than hurt them with hugs. His snow fun party piece is a hedgehog Snowball.



 Petal Princess: Guardian of the Night Flower Garden. Communicates by chiming in people's heads. She is absolutely beautiful and reminds Sam of his mother. She is very capable as a guardian and can do more than you can imagine.



 Arnold the Dwarf: He lives in the Mines of Abundance and loves gems and Jewels more than food, which Sam finds very strange. One of the twenty dwarves from the mines and unofficially their leader. He has Red hair and a bushy beard. His face goes red when he is annoyed and he talks in rapid fire mode at times.



 Mortimer Goblin: He is green and leader of the goblin group. Tall and lazy. A would-be thief but is not very good at it. He loves gems and jewels almost as much as Arnold.



 Fips: A Salty Seadog. He is a tan terrier with a red spotted scarf tied around his neck. Captain of the Azure Angel and adventurer on the Seven Sleeping Seas. He lost his itch from his left ear.



 Chish: A small but very cute white and tan spaniel with doggie eyes. She wears a lilac woven silk neck collar with a large purple pearl, an old family heirloom. She has an itch on her right ear and likes a good scratch now and again.



 Anne and Andy Itch: A very peculiar pair of pests indeed.



 The Five Fish:

o Peeghetti: The biggest of the five, yellow and black in colour and comes from an Italian American family.

o Smiley: The smallest of the five, orange in colour and thinks he was a big shark in a former life. He gives the impression of being bigger than he actually is.

o Candyfloss: She has big eyes. Almost bulging though you'd never say that out loud as she is just so sweet. She is a mottled white in colour and loves to twirl around and spread her sweetness.

o Dragon Fish: DF for short. Small and yellow. Often takes the lead with the five and his bubbles can be ignited into flames when there is the need.

o Turtle: She is the longest of the five and is golden with orange spots. She is a cool dude who likes thrills and adventure. She is ready for anything.



 The Night Fliers: They are moth like creatures from the Night Flower Garden. Of glittering purple bodies and golden gossamer wings. They glow a golden colour when happy and shed glittering gold dust. Sensitive to the worlds emotions and feelings. They thrive with good positive energy.



 The Night-Mares and Night-Stallions: Seahorses that can influence your dreams. When together they are merely wild in their thoughts but apart they grow very sad and their influence on dreams isn't just wild but is filled with their sadness too.



 Burp and Piggywiggy: Two pigs and pets of Grumphspawn. Burp is pink and Piggywiggy is brown and white. They are special animals and there is more to them than meets the eye.
