Just deciding on the first sketches for the cover of this book. Excellent stuff again from VICTOR GUIZA.
In the meantime here is another sample from the coming story...
"I know what we need to do." Grumphspawn went on. "You have lost your feeling of fun for the snow."
"I suppose so ...." Sam muttered with a frown on his face.
"Well then, it's simple." Grumphspawn grinned, pausing for dramatic effect.
"We need to find that missing fun once more. Yes, the snow can be dangerous but, with a sense of that, we can still enjoy it just as much as ever." Grumphspawn scratched his scraggly beard on his craggy face.
"We need a game."
"A game, what kind of a game?" Sam was always willing to join in games, if they looked like they would be fun.
"What games do you like to play?" Grumphspawn asked. "Particularly, what kind of snow games?"
"He loves a good snowball fight." Elannah burst out laughing. Rodger the Badger grinned remembering the pelting he had had earlier.
"And I like sledging .... building snowmen and jumping in deep piles of snow."
"Do you make snow angels?" The Great Wizard arched his eyebrows again, hoping it would lift Sam's mood further.
Sam nodded, "Sometimes, but they are more Elannah's thing."
Elannah could see that Sam was not so gloomy anymore. All the thought of fun and games had lifted him up already. She must remember that. Distract them with fun and games. It seemed to work well.
"I have a good trick for the snow." Pokey the Hedgehog told them. "I roll up into a ball and go rolling down a hill, all of the snow sticks to me and I make a massive snowball. A Hedgehog Snowball! I have to be careful though, last time I did it the hill was too big and I needed help getting out again."
Sam laughed out loud at the thought of his friend as a big snow ball.
ENJOY!
